The Data Science Institute at Imperial College London and HyperionDev Expand Partnership with New Generative AI Short Course
HyperionDev, a leading provider of online tech education, is pleased to announce the expansion of its partnership with top-ranking UK university, Imperial College London, through the launch of a new Generative AI Short Course developed in collaboration with Imperial’s Data Science Institute.
Building on their existing partnership and portfolio of tech bootcamps, this continued collaboration with the prestigious Russell Group University aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills and understanding of AI needed to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive digital landscape.
According to Forbes, the demand for technical AI talent rose by 323% over the last eight years as the skills deficit continues to grow. Generative AI is rapidly transforming how we create, innovate, and interact with technology, and harnessing its potential has never been more important.
The six-week online Generative AI Short Course is designed to close this skills gap and train a new generation of talented AI professionals. It covers fundamental AI topics, from the math behind machine learning to deep learning models used in generative AI. Learners will benefit from engaging with the mechanisms that make AI possible through knowledge-based assignments and real-world case studies, such as customer sentiment and churn.
The launch of the Generative AI Short Course expands ICL’s growing offering of online bootcamps in Software Engineering, Web Development and Data Science – some of the high-demand tech fields. With a focus on practical hands-on training and a flexible online learning approach, these bootcamps serve as effective springboards for career changers and those wanting to upskill.
“We are excited to extend our partnership with Imperial College London to continue delivering scarce tech and coding education to learners, and now launched a new Generative AI Course“, said Riaz Moola, CEO and Founder of HyperionDev. “In the last two years of working with Imperial, we have served hundreds of participants and facilitated job transitions into tech roles at some leading UK employers such as Amazon, AstraZeneca, and Meta.”
For past participants, these bootcamps have made a significant impact, allowing them to transition into tech or progress significantly in their careers. According to HyperionDev’s most recent Graduate Outcomes Report, 88% of bootcamp participants secured a job offer within 6 months of bootcamp completion, and many enjoyed a median salary increase of 178%. Even more participants have gone on to work for industry-leading global employers such as Google, Vodafone, Barclays, Natwest, British Airways, NHS, NationalGrid, Accenture, and Deloitte—demonstrating both the strong demand for tech talent and the effectiveness of these bootcamps in preparing participants to thrive in real-world roles.
The expansion of HyperionDev and Imperial College London’s partnership with the launch of short courses is another example of the strong commitment to transformation and career advancement in the ever-growing tech industry.
