Terms and Conditions
By participating in the HyperionDev “New Year, New Skills” Social Media Competition (the “Competition”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
1. Competition Duration
1.1. The Competition will run from 11 March 2025 to 22 March 2025.
1.2. The winner will be announced on 28 March 2025 via HyperionDev’s official social media channels.
1.3. The Discount Campaign will continue to run from 10 March 2025 to 30 April 2025.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to individuals who:
- Are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
- Reside in South Africa.
- Have an active Instagram account and follow @HyperionDev.
2.2. Employees of HyperionDev, its affiliates, partners, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Enter
3.1. Participants must engage with HyperionDev’s “New Year, New Skills” coding challenges on Instagram.
3.2. The more answers participants comment, the higher their chance to win.
3.3. Bonus Entries: Participants can earn additional entries by:
- Tagging friends in their comments.
- Sharing the challenge post on their Instagram Stories and tagging @HyperionDev.
3.4. Entries must be submitted before the 21 March 2025 12:00 AM deadline to be considered.
4. Winner Selection & Prize
4.1. The winner will be selected at random from participants who have engaged with the campaign in accordance with the entry rules.
4.2. The winner will receive a FREE HyperionDev Bootcamp of their choice (subject to availability and excluding any of the Onsite Bootcamps and Hybrid Bootcamps such as Immersive Certified Bootcamp Full Stack Web & Software Engineer Bootcamp and Immersive Certified Bootcamp AI Engineering Bootcamp ).
4.3. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other product or service.
4.4. The winner will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message (DM) by @HyperionDev. If the winner does not respond within 3 days, an alternate winner will be selected.
5. General Rules
5.1. Participants must submit their own answers—spam, duplicate, or bot-generated comments will result in disqualification.
5.2. HyperionDev reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant who:
- Fails to meet the Eligibility requirements.
- Engages in fraudulent activity.
- Violates Instagram’s Terms of Service.
- Uses inappropriate or offensive language in their comments
5.3. By entering, participants agree to allow HyperionDev to use their name, Instagram handle, and submitted content for promotional purposes.
6. Disclaimer
6.1. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
6.2. HyperionDev is not responsible for:
- Technical issues preventing participation.
- Late, lost, or misdirected entries.
6.3. HyperionDev reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time for reasons beyond its control.
7. Data Privacy
7.1. Participant information will be used solely for the purposes of administering this Competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
8. Agreement to Terms
8.1. By entering, participants acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions, and HyperionDev’s decisions regarding the Competition are final and binding.
